Where were you born:

New York, but I grew up in Nashville, TN

Where do you live now:

Officially New York City as of a couple months ago! Excited about it

Where are your mother and father from and if you would like to a line or two about them:

Indiana, US. They met in college and moved to New York, conquered it, and left to Nashville after having me.

A couple of things of which you have done or are doing now and your inspiration and reasons for doing them:

I have been in university full time for a couple years, it's a good balance to life in a creative industry and I like being able to absorb the business tactics I’ve been studying on the job. I'm also an avid cook, I'll spend all day in the kitchen. I find it the perfect mix between science and art.

What is beauty to you:

Beauty is power and comfort. If you are comfortable, you are both beautiful and powerful.

What do you find beautiful in others:

Kind eyes, it's the most capturing feature. I also find timidness beautiful, it's something seen in a very negative way now days.

What are your thoughts about ageing and beauty:

I think that's personal and individual, but I personally am hoping to have laugh lines.

What gives you strength in life:

My mother. Hands down the strongest woman I know. When I'm having a rough day I'll call her, hear her light and happy voice and know if she can do what she has and be happy, I can get through any day.

What causes are close to you heart:

Free education. The higher level of free education offered by a country, the more educated the nation is, example after example. The thought that here are families that can't afford their child's tuition to elementary school in Africa is disheartening. Also, a woman should have the right to choose what she does with her body, no uterus, no opinion.

What do you do to keep in shape physically and how often:

I like to try new things, so I try new classes every week or two. However hot yoga is a definite favorite, body and mind. I also live in a six story walk up, so a built in workout!

What do you do to keep in your mind in shape:

I'm in full time University so that keeps me learning, and I always have a book or podcast for my commute. I also have fallen in love with hypnosis before bed; they have apps for everything- anxiety, insomnia, self-esteem.

What do you do to look after your skin:

I use oil for everything- for removing makeup, moisture, even mix it in with my concealed.

What little things do you buy just for you even though they may never be seen or known to others:

Lingerie, I'll wear it for only myself sometimes. I also have a thing for little vintage decor; my newest items are a wooden coffee grinder I bought at an antique market in Paris and a blue oyster glass vase I found in New York.

What little things do you do just for you even though they may never be seen or known to others:

One of my favorite ways to spend at night is alone in my apartment with a bottle of wine, dancing around alone. It's completely rejuvenating.

What is one of the most important things for you in you life weather its something
you have or are looking to achieve:

Adventure. Adventure keeps you humble and keeps your mind open. I'm lucky enough to be able to travel, but adventure can be had anywhere with the right attitude.

Who represents a beautiful person for you at this moment and why:

Selma Hayek- while she's undeniably gorgeous, the few times I've been around her she has a wonderful, warm aura walking into a room, making everyone feel comfortable. She's also quick to laugh, which is beautiful in anyone.

A moment in your life that had a big effect on who you are now:

My mother’s car accident. I was young and it made me independent and nurturing.

Any other thoughts on health, mental health, age, beauty, life you would like to share:

If you're not happy, change something, try something different. Being happy will improve every aspect of your life.
