Where were you born:

Madrid, Spain.

Where do you live now:

I would say I live in Madrid because it is where my family and Uni are, but last year I spent more time in London.

Where are your mother and father from and if you would like to a line or two about them, who they are what they did, or something simple about your family back ground:

My parents are both Spanish. My mom works in the Social Security, my dad is an architect. I am a only child and my parents have always been really supportive but they were really strict as well.

A couple of things of which you have done or are doing now and your inspiration and reasons for doing them:

I have always been really into studies, even though I started modeling when I was 14, I studied two baccalaureates at the same time: the Spanish and the IB, and I am studying Biotechnology atm. I love languages too; I can speak English, French, Chinese and Spanish. Sports are really important in my life as well, especially swimming.

Did you see yourself or where you seen as beautiful  growing up:

When I was little, I wasn´t the kind of popular and cool girl at school at all. I was the skinny, tall and long legs nerd that spent most of her time in the library. It is funny how things change, people that used to make fun of me when I was younger, suddenly started texting me when they realized I am a model.

What is beauty to you:

I think beauty is just accepting ourselves the way we are, and be self confident about our beautiful and not so beautiful things.

What do you find beautiful in others:

For me self confidence is the key… Maybe someone doesn’t seem really beautiful at the beginning, but once you know them, you start seeing them in a different way and actually, you start to love those things you didn’t like at the beginning about them.

Talking about men, I find beauty in the height and the hands… Some men are not handsome according to the concept of beauty, but they can be really attractive depending on their personality.

Talking about women, I think there are different kinds of beauties, I find beautiful every kind of women, as long as they like themselves and take care about their body… As I am saying, I think beauty is really subjective and it depends on the way you project yourself on others.

What are your thoughts about ageing and beauty:

It scares me to be honest. I am only 20 and sometimes I feel old… Time flies and you just have to accept you are not gonna stay young forever. But I think this industry is really strict sometimes, not only young girls are beautiful, I think, old women are even much more beautiful sometimes, cause beauty is about personality as well, and older women with more experience in life and with solid values are the most attractive under my point of view. I am saying it is unfair since it is different for men… In the fashion industry, a 35 year old woman is old and probably won’t work, but on the other hand, a man in his 30’s is seen as very attractive and will book a lot of jobs.

What gives you strength in life:

When I am having hard times I just think about my family and really close friends, and compare my problems to theirs, and then I realize how lucky I am… especially my dad, he is always there when I need him, always supporting me and cheering me up even though he has real problems compared to mines.

What gives you a sense of identity:

That is a hard one, maybe it is because I am still young, but I still don’t know what I want my life to be about, and I hate making decisions and stuff… But I guess my family… As you can see my family is really important for me, and even if I don’t see them as often as I would like to, I always have them in my mind.

What do you do to keep in shape physically and how often:

Sport is the most important part, you don’t really need to go to the gym every day, although that would be the best, you just need to keep active, try to walk as much as possible and every time you have some free time do a little workout, doesn’t matter if you are at the gym or not, you can workout at home if you want. And, of course, diet is important as well, I have always been naturally skinny, but now that I am not a child I can feel the difference in my body when I don’t eat healthy.

What do you do to keep in your mind in shape:

To keep your mind in shape you just have to be self confident, and I am not gonna lie, for me that is the hardest part, cause at the end of the day, what others say to you can affect you… But every person has a different taste and point of view so some people will like you, and others won’t, but that is not a reason to try to please everybody, you just have to try to be the best version of yourself, but don’t change because there are things of you that someone doesn’t like.

What do you do to look after your skin:

I clean my skin every day, and remove my make up properly after a shoot or show… always moisturized… and if I am not working I never wear make up, so that my skin can `breathe´.

What little things do you buy just for you even though they may never be seen or known to others:

Thongs and sport clothes… It seems I never have enough thongs, especially nude thongs, cause those are the ones we have to wear to every job, I have tons of them hahaha… It is the same with sport clothes, as I do a lot of sport I like to have different kind of leggings and sport tops.

What little things do you do just for you even though they may never be seen or known to others:

I love taking care of my nails, always cutting them and painting them with transparent nail polish.

What is one of the most important things for you in you life whether it’s something you have or are looking to achieve:

I don’t really know what I want my life to be about in the future, I guess I just look forward being happy as everybody… Just want my closest ones to be proud of me…

Who represents a beautiful person for you at this moment and why:

I really admire curvy models… I would love to have their self-confidence, and they are showing the world you can be beautiful even if you aren’t like society says beauty is supposed to be.

A moment in your life that had a big effect on who you are now:

When I was 13 my best friend died, I guess I always have her in my heart, when I think about it, it still affects me, but we were so close, that just made me realize that life is a gift, and that you have to treat your closest ones the best way you can, and enjoy every single minute, try to be positive, and deal with hard times cause other people are having harder times than you… Just try to be the best version of you, and even if people think you can’t achieve something just work on it, and try to make the most of your time to achieve your dreams.

Any other thoughts on health, mental health, age, beauty, life you would like to share:

You only have one body, so you have to think that you are what you eat and what you do to your body is your decision… so you have to accept your it the way it is and take care of it.
