Where were you born:
In Freudenberg in West Germany, pretty much in the middle of nowhere.
Where do you live now:
I‘m based in Soho, London but I travel a lot.
Where are your mother and father from and if you would like to a line or two about them:
My parents are both from Germany - my dad was a festival producer before he retired and now he travels around Europe in a little Volkswagen Bus.
My mum runs a small event agency in my hometown - my parents have been separated for over 10 years now but are still good friends which is great and very rare.
I have two older brothers who both still live in Germany.
I go back at least every other month or so and speak almost daily to my family, I‘m really close to them.
Who represents a beautiful person for you at this moment and why:
My mother, she is the most caring, least selfish person in the world. She raised three children, made her own career and is looking after her own mother too and is always on top of everything even though she‘s had a pretty tough life at times.. She‘s some sort of superwoman to me.
A moment in your life that had a big effect on who you are now:
Leaving university and Germany and starting to model and travel was a big turning point and also some certain people I met in the past years have shaped me a lot.
Acouple of things of which you have done or are doing now and your inspiration and reasons for doing them:
Traveling and socializing with people are my two biggest passions.
I get itchy feet when I‘m in one for place for more than 4 weeks. I love socializing and meeting new people so I‘m rarely at home - I always need to be outside, going to yoga or Pilates or boxing classes or be out and about with friends.
I try and learn new things all the time, even if it‘s just something small, like, maybe playing the Ukulele. In the past years I got very passionate about film since one of my best friends is a producer, so maybe that‘s something I wanna get into more.

What gives you a sense of identity:
Same - my friends and my family I guess! There is a theory that you become like the 5 people you are closest to; I think that‘s very true.
What causes are close to you heart:
The recent refugee crisis has become something very close to my heart - I can‘t even imagine what it‘s like to see your home turn into a warzone and having to leave everything behind.
What is beauty to you:
You can use the word, beautiful‘ on so many different levels.
Someone can look beautiful, someone can have a beautiful personality, and landscape can be beautiful or a scene in a film.
In my industry the word, beauty‘ is obviously reduced to looks.
For me personally the word, beauty‘ or, beautiful‘ describes something pleasant, weather it‘s visually or a smell or a taste etc.
What do you find beautiful in others:
Physical beauty goes hand in hand with personality.
It sounds cheesy but kindness makes people very beautiful in my eyes.
There is nothing more beautiful than someone who is selfless and caring. I also find it beautiful if people aren‘t aware of their beauty and don‘t take themselves too serious. It‘s all fun!
What are your thoughts about ageing and beauty:
I personally think it‘s great if people can age naturally in grace, it‘s all part of you and your journey. I do also think it‘s fine though if people get some help to keep themselves look young if that makes them happy and feel more comfortable in their body! It‘s your body after all and your life; no one should judge what you do with it.
What gives you strength in life.
My friends and my family - I‘m very lucky to have such amazing, kind people in my life.

What do you do to keep in shape physically and how often:
I used to do Ballet, I pretty much started when I just started walking and I quit when I turned 18. Now I do a lot of (hot) yoga, Pilates, Hiit and dancing. When I have the time I work out 4-6 times a week.. We have this great group chat with a lot of girls from London on Whatsapp that someone originally started when most of us joined ClassPass. We all motivate each other and go workout together.
I also try to walk everywhere; I find it very therapeutic.
What do you do to keep in your mind in shape:
I read, I listen to podcasts and I always try to learn something new, like pick up bits from a new language when I‘m traveling. I also try and surround myself with interesting people that challenge me a bit in a conversation.
What do you do to look after your skin:
I don‘t smoke and I always wear a moisturizer with an SPF, even in the wintertime.
I should probably drink more water and less coffee and wine but you can‘t do everything, eh ;)
What little things do you buy just for you even though they may never be seen or known to:
I‘m a foodie, big time. Nothing makes me as happy as a good meal, even if it‘s just a takeout meal and I eat by myself watching a film. Food time is sacred for me.
What little things do you do just for you even though they may never be seen or known to others:
Always making time to eat and go to yoga class. Speak to my family everyday. I also love vintage shopping and car boot sales - which is difficult to plan to go to with other people because they‘re normally on Sunday mornings and you never know what happens on a Saturday night and if you or your friends will actually make it.. So I normally do that alone and quite enjoy it.
What is one of the most important things for you in you life whether it’s something you have or are looking to achieve:
Again, Family and friends. I also want to find something else to do with my life other than modeling, something that makes sense and that I love. I recently thought that if by the time I‘m 30 still haven‘t figured out a second career path I might become a social worker. I also definitely want to have children at some point.
